Just had a look at both techmounts and ram mounts, how does the detector attach the mount, they all have flat bottoms, am i supposed to velcro it down or fab up a little bracket?

It depends what you go with.

With the techmount, it was a stem stand, had 3m dual lock on the top (better than velcro) and the detector was inside the plastic case, with dual lock on the bottom of it.

With the Ram Solutions set up I now have (different bike) I have the magnetic plate, with the corresponding metal plate. The metal plate dual locks to the plastic case, and the whole thing stays on via magnet. Doesn't go anywhere, 1600km trips, wheelies etc...

Yeah I'm looking toward the ram solution way right now.

Would magnets mess with the radio waves?

How did you find the STI performed as far as detection warning times .... compared to the V1 ?
I know that the STI is undetectable by the HP. Is the V1 the same ?
