Constantly consuming, conquer and devour.
I would be but the triumph clubs got a ride on
To do something well is so worth while that to die trying to it better cannot be foolhardy. It would be a waste of a life to do nothing with ones ability, for I feel life is not measured in achievement, not in years alone. BRUCE MCLAREN
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
Arse pamphlets, I've only just seen this, I went around the mountain again. Awesome ride, it was like a different season compared to yesterdays miserable showing.
All good, catch ya next time Mr Lank![]()
Oh bugger
Me too, but I actually passed through Whanga twice on my way to Kaieto and back scrubbing in new tyres.
Dunno what went wrong, usually after a trip like that I only have small(ish) chicken strips but they are still embarrassingly large. The outward leg was done in constrained fashion but the homeward leg was reasonably uninhibited most of the way.
This was also a test of the suspension. There's a couple of bends between Kaieto and Whanga with built in whoop de woos. If a bike is going to wallow anywhere it'll do it there. No problems.
Apart form the bloody chicken strips it was a great day![]()
Yeah, missed this too.
Got the bike stripped down to do a bit of maintenance for the upcoming Training Day in Taupo.
I'm sure it was a good ride, keen for next time!
