Just a bit of useless information... Garston is the farthest point from the coast in the country!

    Talking Garston rally publicity

Happy New Year all, seems kinda daft saying that on 2nd January butanyway.

Check out page 21 on BikeRider Magazine, the Rally's in there, and its in this weeks Mountain Scene.

Stopped for a soft drink at Famous Kellys (BP roundabout...Frankton) on New years day, and a couple of harleys rocked up, so went chasing them to tell them about the rally, and he said its up in a pub in Riverton (haven't been there) and they had a drink in Fairlie the other day and the publican chucked a poster at them, so its getting around..........

Thousands of things to do now, so arse up head down now to make this a huge success.

Yuk 3 more days back to the reality of work.......ho hum,

Waikia Rally 10th Jan, so light at the end of that tunnel.

Coi for now dudes and dudess's

    Woodybee checking out.

    Hugs your way..

Hey, just thinking, you should have a left a bunch of flyers in Nelson when you were there and and we could have chucked them around at the street racing that was on today. Too late now of course but there's plenty of bikers in town for the racing, so it would have a good plug - oh well.

I could always post you some mate, and you could fly them around CChurch.

In fact could I ask all kber's to print off a few posters and stick them in prominent places, or just sandwich them onto bikes they pass. cheers Dudes and Dudess's

    Hey Dudes and Dudess's

Any of you that live around the area, know of someone who wants to do breakfasts at the Garston Rally.......just bacon, sausages eggs in a sani etc.,

If all else fails, looks like I shall be tied to the barbeque myself on the Sunday morning, anyone wanna donate their time and help me?

Glenorchy Races this weekend, have left me with a hangover from hell, on account of drinking wine, so feeling ultra sorry for myself?

Oh well, and back to work tommorow Lotto not won so still need to work.

    Hugs to ya's

What about contacting the local school trustees? They might be glad to earn a few bob for the school. I'm sure the publicans could put you in touch.

Lions clubs often take on this type of catering. Try

Jantar is on to it. Usually there are local groups who do catering for community occasions as a fundraiser. Lions, Womens Division, Young Farmers, etc. Maybe the Athol Volunteer Fire Brigade? Ring Garston School for a start and see where they point you.

I had a chance to have a look around Garston at the weekend and the paddock where the Rally site is situated is HUGE!! plenty of room for everyone.
I think this will be a fantastic "first" rally...and a little bit different to the norm....See you there!!
