    Rearing to go...

    Already got the bike packed!!!

Go to work on it in the morning and when I finish work at 3, just jump on and go.

Fewking weather though.... It better ignore the TV etc and turn out nice for my ride!!!!

I want nice, dry weather to go up in. No fun in the wet. Especially when I've only been over that road once. In the cage. At least 5 or 6 years ago......

Sadly circumstances have conspired to eliminate my attendance. Wife not wanting to spend a w/e with a wet arse, stepson staying in Nth Island (with my tent). At least I prepaid for both of us so "keep the change" Woody!

It would be nice if the weather stays in the sky, but I suspect it'll be running off us. I hope you packed those flippers

    Speaking of weather.....

Just been looking at metservice weather maps.

Looks like a bit of wind in the low heading towards us. Would be nice if that wind blew it through more quickly than the metservice guys have predicted.

Looked at another site which shows full disk in infrared and there seems to be a clear patch/area of low, shallow cloud sitting over Tasmania and the east coast of Aus. Possible fine/improved weather....

Click here if you want to have a look at different satellite images...

    For those that don't know:

the whiter the cloud appears in the image, the higher the top of the cloud is => higher likelyhood of rain

if it's dark, dark grey => very little/no cloud => no rain....

watching the loops is pretty cool..

Its only water... however ride safe will see every one on site... I don't want to hear any hard luck stories other than... "You think you rode through rain, you had nothing compared to what we had..." (hard luck)

Its not actually raining here at present and looks fine looking south...
