    Paeroa BOS '05 - Sunday 20/02 (spectators)

Last year Spankme, Duckman, et al, led a group of "don't want to wake up too early on a Sunday" spectators to Paeroa via Miranda.
I see no reason why we shouldn't do this again!

These are the details as of 11-02-05:

Meet at the Caltex carpark, Mt Wellington Hwy (by the BK)

    9:00am, for a 9:15 depart

A reminder that slow riders may find the pace a bit too quick - aimed at medium to quick riders - the whole wake up late and make up the difference kinda thing...

A recommendation for a place to meet at paeroa to sit and dump our gear
The grassy knoll overlooking the hairpin.

I'm heading down the day before, I'll be working there, maybe on the track maintenance ute or something. Be good to see some familer faces there.
Speed limits are just a suggestion, like pants.

You know your right, atleast for me its been new seal about half the time. maybe we could meet in rotorua or something (depending on where Pearoa is *gets his tourist map out*)

    Is Tauranga a cultural backwater?

Good option What? I'll be contacting AJturbo to pull a group together; I figure one of us will surface as co-ordinator. Unless you want to volunteer?

The Hammy side of it is fun as, it's your side of it that they have been redoin lately. I had a surprise riddin over there the other day when the back tire wanted to slip out. Slowed down and just held it but it wasnt much fun, but once i got past that part i was back to havin fun again (i enjoy laughin at my sister and mom and them when they have to stop and pay toll and i dont. yea its only a dollar but still i can laugh )
