yeah the hammy side is the best, the ol 1100 you had to slide rear around alot to get it around corners at speed, riding the father in laws old vulcan 1500 was the worse, scraping exhust and floor boards they the corners.

Dont have a problem with scraping the side of my bike (just my saddle bags) and I just love it when i can pass cars on the way up doin the full 100Kmhthe bike roaring like a mad lion!! Lots of waves from little kids too they just love it as much as i do. (edit) the only thing i havn't done yet is go down at speed but i doubt i will do that for a while.

    Anyone from HB going??
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Im planning on going up. Have made the trip a couple of times on the bike but this year I will be taking Mrs Deano up in the car.

Hope to catch up with some of you up there - I know Quasi and have met DM so I will look out for you. I'll be the dickhead wearing the SP-1 t-shirt.

Is anyone riding up from Wellington? There is a possibility that I might have to pop down there, and then ride something new and shiny back!

So who is the yamaha dealer in wellington Sue ?

    F/F
"Kiwi Biker, still a great place despite the mods "

"Would crawl over broken glass before owning Suzuki"

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

I'm in for sure.. What time and where to meet everyone tho? The Green Lane Shell ok for everyone? What time?
I'll do the usual meet for the 'shore riders at Cyclespot if anyone wants to meet there first, then head down.. I guess decide a little closer to the date..
but I'm well up for it..

    You not ridin up Quasi?

Oh, I should also point out that because we are leaving later then the 'early' types, it won't be slow, in order to get there before too much of the racing has already been done! I don't intend on scraping pegs all the way, but I won't be 'taking it easy' either - gotta stretch those legs when you get to Miranda...

While I'll be confined to a cage there could be a few on bikes coming up to stay with us.

I'll try to keep you posted once I confirm it with the lads.
