    Wanker!

Na it's ok, I've always got a heap of fishing line and cable ties on me most of the time - I occationally need to refresh the other bits of fishing line and cables ties holding other bits of my bike on/together.

And your right, I'm going to have to get some new knee sliders - I had some nice looking ones that came with my suit, wasn't thinking and went a bit too fast in a couple of corners, and now they're all scratched.
We're all fucked. I'm fucked. You're fucked. The whole department is fucked. It's the biggest cock-up ever. We're all completely fucked.

Hmmm, I could do a big mumsy-type nag here, but I will just shake my head instead. Sudeep you are a worry! Just remember, if I have to scrape you off the road, I will be putting very big needles into you!!!

Yes, I know you're great on the track, but take it easy - you're not invincible. I still think that there are great cases of confidence exceeding ability, not only with this event...

Don't get me wrong, I just don't want to see you, or any other of you crazy Orks hurt, or more likely killed.

PS: Yes, yes, yes, I've STILL got jeans as riding pants, what's your point
I'll back you up on that one - just plain fucking stupid I'd call it...getting close to what we call a ''zipper'' a modern sports tyre is really thin when they get that low.If a vehicle comes into my workshop like that I have the power to call in the cops and get a sticker slapped on it as unroadworthy. It's not a calculated risk to ride with a tyre like that...just plain fucking stupid!

You speak the truth, so why would I get upset?

Tire looked OK before the ride, during lunch, it looked pretty worn but it still had rubber through out the tire. After that, I had to get home early in time for work so I upped the pace a bit and shot off back to Auckland with Arven. Only when I parked the bike on the driveway did I realise the tires true state. Am I stupid for doing that as Motu put it? Yes. That was my mistake, I will know better in the future.

    Peace.

hahaha... I was suggesting that as the rubber started to peel and revealed rubber with a different colour that it might be down to the rubber for the steel casing.... guess we know now! :P I am sure you won't do that again soon!...
