I like to start mine off on a firm footing, point it up into a fully erect position and apply something hot to the tip.

After this there is a bit of sparking and twitching followed by a fiery performance as it thrusts further and further upwards.

Finally after you think it could not get any more wonderful, there is a noisy, shooting climax and it lays spent and smoking.

Once it is safe to try another I start over again.
