    Talking New President USA

Well, just got home and heard on the radio that th USA has got a new President, Obama.....probably spelt that wrong as per usual.

Well done, the USA for choosing someone who isn't a war monger, boy that Bush has made a fuck up of the world on a grand scale.

I have a feeling that this dude could change the world for the better, or am I just hoping. Fuck he has one hell of a job on his hands.

Wish the guy all the success in the world.....and he's fit as, always a bonus.

Have a bit of cash left before pay day and off to taost Mr. Obama;s success, which is most unusual for me..........to take an interest in America or the presidential campaign

But being a brit and watching what Bush did over the years, sickened me to the gut, and been following articles about this guy and watching him on the telly, he really has a great air about him, and breathes newness into that confused country.

Bush used to Use the PM Blair (UK Priminster before tosser Brown) as his glove puppet, so now that Bush has gone, I really have breathed a sigh of relief.

Yes, I know that politicians are all the same, but maybe just maybe, dudes and dudess's this guy could really make a difference, got a good feeling in the pit of stomach about him, and like I said he's fit as, and that's important to him, to woohoo....good for him.

    Good Luck America!!!

The Dawn of a new era, not only for you, but for perhaps the rest of the world.

    Obama.

Well, if the US can finally see sense, maybe there is hope for New Zealand yet!

Go Mister Obama, you indeed have a hell of a lot of work ahead.

    Is very exciting.
Pyrocam is over there for work and is currently at the rally. Where Obama is. Was quite exciting to see it on the news live.

He talks the talk. Now we get to see if he can walk the walk.

Only wish we had a candidate as worthy of our votes.

Barack Obama is only a politician. He's not a god, nor does he possess superhuman powers. And he is only the President of the United States of America. About the only thing he is able to do without the support of Congress is to take that country to war. That could be an entirely sensible move, given the parlous state of that country's economy, and the USA's reputation is pretty much rock bottom with other countries in the world.

Good luck to President-elect Obama. I suspect he will need it.

Agree 100% with this sentiment. It is a worry with these rednecks, they see anything non-white as a threat to their small world. I am very anti PC but I fear for the new guy, these numbnuts are the guys that start wars and create the shite we are in now.

    Here's hoping anyway

my feeling is he is another Winston Peters and his honeymoon with the electorate will be short lived
