    hey matey..

don't waist your time with the heat gun....
paint stripper is the way to go!..

    i use a product called

sea to sky.. from taulbmans.. costs a LOT but all the hard work is done for you, also it would save time .. on an average 3bedroom place you would be looking at nearly 2 weeks LESS work...(IF YOU WERE TO BURN OFF)

SPRAY IT ON ... LEAVE FOR A COUPLE OF HRS

then after lunch scrap it off.. next day you prime, fill holes, sand, re-prime filler, 2 X top coats.. ....

    what a ride so far!!!!

hmmm- how much is A LOT? Sounds very much like you are a painter. My wifes cousin has been a painter for years and he recommended heat gunning. Seemed to work well- he came round to offer advice and tried scraping, sanding and heat gunning. The heat gun was the best by miles for our house. But the thought of potentially buring my house down..... I'm off to buy a good heat gun now. Will look into this Taubmans stuff while I'm there. Thanks man.
