Such an eloquent comeback. I am fair ready to swoon after hearing such beautiful prose emerge from yon lips, dear lady.

Truely, Tolkien has met his match now.

Oh and I'll take those eggs with a moderately runny yolk and make sure you cut the toast into soldiers.

I'm coming in a bit late on this one but what the hell....

We have friends (married) who went on an organised group ride a few months ago. They both made the comment about how "butch" many of the women were and appeared to "bat for the other team". I was a bit surprised at their comments, as when they described the appearance of said women, they were pretty much describing me.

Got my hair cut very short (extremely short back and sides!) a few weeks before xmas and hubby jokingly called it my lesbian haircut....just to rark me up. We saw the aforementioned friends over xmas break and I jokingly said to one of them about my new "lesbain haircut" thinking she would laugh, but bugger me, quick as a flash she said "well it is a bit butch, isn't it". My jaw nearly hit the floor...!!! I was so gobsmacked I said nothing in return!

There does seem to be a stereotype with very short hair.....but it's just so much easier to look after as I don't need to use a hairdryer.

I ride a Kwaka KLE500.....not sure if that matches the haircut tho??
