Kari what does 1 say to someone who has lost the most important person who they Loved and cherished as much as you did with Grub. I just cant believe that this has happened to such an Awesome guy and my heart goes out to you at this very very sad time in your life. Grub surely was a very helpful, generous and pleasant guy to know and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to not only work with him with the Vic Club at the race meetings but to also go for the few rides I went on with him and you also. He is going to be missed by so many of us and the memory of him will live on with us all forever. RIP Grub and I miss you you so much. Please Kari if there is anything I can do for you Please dont hesitate to give me a call and here is a Huge Big Hug for you.

What does one say... though I never knew Grub personally I had the sense of knowing him through reading his posts... as I do with many of the regular KB contributors. This is sad and shocking news - my thoughts are with you Nasty... Grub was and is a well known guy to many KB'rs and all will be feeling this loss.

When I came around that bend to see someone on the road, at the time I did not know it was Brett. Brett was in the group ahead of me and I had been chatting to him when we made a food stop about 45mins earlier. As we pulled in , he was standing with a big grin on his face, about to put his helmet on to do the next leg - about to do something he loved. That is the way I will always remember him. Someone who had the time to chat and who took an interest in what you had to say.

Kari you have my sincere condolences. Your loss will be shared by many who knew him via the wider KB community. If you need anything at all please don't hesitate to ask.
