    Post Classic GP 'BEARS' Choppa

Well there was no racing anywhere else so when i got a call mid week from a friend (Alex Burroghs) with an opertunity to have a play on his Ducati 1098 in the BEARS class i grabbed it!

The bike was still all dressed in its stupidly expensive road gear so I was a tad nervous to say the least! Anyway we got practice out of the way and I was chosen for pole position as there was no official timing.

    1st Race

I started at the front and pretty much just did what i needed to stay in front, the bike was far from set up for me and i was struggling with the front end so i just made the most of the power advantage and took the win

    2nd Race

Again starting from the front made life easy but Melcom Bell passed me on lap 2, I followed him for a bit and pulled up beside him on the back straight but let him back through for a couple of laps to have a bit of fun but he was starting to pull a gap through the infield on the ncr so i decided to make the most of the power of the 1098 and passed him down the backstraight and put my head down for a lap or so, mel eventually backed off so i wouldnt throw his mates duke down the road and i took the win comfortably

All in all it was a fun day, my day was made when i got to take out the zx10 and feel some real power in the demonstration ride

    Hey Choppa
That Bike (Ducati) looked seky as out there. Does it relly feel that gutless compared to the 10?
Looked like a man taking candy from a baby out there

haha yeah it feels like a 600 compared to the 10 but it was fun to ride and it sounded great! It would make a good race bike with a few mods, lack of a slipper clutch is the biggest problem!
