    Thanks Motott and Shaun

For those that cant be fucked reading a load of waffle more for my own entertainment than theirs --
SHORT VERSION -did a trackday, Had fun diddn't crash LOVE 675 triumphs

    LONG-boring version.
Looking back in the ol diary and I realised its been 4 years since I got to do more than a couple of laps on a Trackday. Worse its been 18 months since I twisted the throttle of a racebike in even mild irritation-let alone anger. The last time I ended up spending a year recovering from the damage.
So it was with a bit of trepidation that I rocked up to the Moto TT trackday.
Sitting in my pits garage was The brand spanking new Moto Dynamix 675 Triumph -so new the tyres were still shiney.
The riding position is VERY bum up head down which had me a tadd worried about weight on my wrist.
Dunno what the ferk I was worried about
First session to be honest wasn't much fun -I followed/led Dpex during this session and with the 4 km on the engine and zero on the tyres i was riding er "carefully". the bike just hated going so slow very jerky on the throttle. I was still cruising with the midddle pack of the group though .
But then Shaun said-"Frosty take the F##$$ thing out and RIDE it FFS"
YEEHAAA--from then on I just had a ball. Progressively going faster and faster but well inside my comfort zone.
That bike was a total Gem to ride Just doing apsolutely everything I could ask of it.
By my last session on the bike It was starting to come back to me and I was at about half race pace and stringing the sequences of corners together most laps.
Shaun was heading home so I handed the bike back to him almost with tears in my eyes. Just so happy I can ride a race bike again with no pain and smoothly.(There was just a moment when I wouldn't let go of the bars.)
So I had no bike for the last session.--BUGGER
Then the nice folk at Moto TT piped up---we can't have that Frosty.--Here take our bike out.
The bike in question is a mildly warmed over SV650 --ohlins shocks and a mild cam.
What a nice bike to punt around. Again I had a ball.
In all honestly I could probably have gone just as fast on the SV as the 675 (a reflection on where Im at not on the respective bikes) But again the idea of wadding a borrowed bike really diddn't apeal to me at all
I've had a few Demons in my head over T2/T3 so it was bloody nice to go out on a bike like my own SV and well and truely lay them to rest.
What was treally great was the number of people coming up and saying welcolm back -Thank you folks

End of the day and NO unusual pain in my arm or head just the normal early season ache in the legs.
More importantly for me is I know I can race again. (ohh and the triumph diddn't have a lil sleep
I have to say a huge thanks the Shaun for loaning me the bike for the day.
And to the MotoTT guys for a great day The loan of the SV was just fantastic.
Negotiations are currently underway for a return to racing--Foot massage Jorja, Cup of tea was it Jorja?????

as a final lil note to those that attended the slow race-- Honest Injun I really did deliberately loose. Just wouldn't have been right getting a free ride on the very bike i'd been rideing all day free on anyways

Serious negotiations are taking place with management.
I'm a LOOONG way off the pace and theres the SV issues to resolve.
Not being funny but that last season was a lesson well learned.
Too many years riding round the handling issues on my bikes
RT, Shaun and Ozzie have got it through my thick head -I need a good handling platform to start with --then breath some power in

    Good onya mate.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Shaun was casting dispersions on my ER6 --Um actually quite rightly--the rear tyre was square lol explains the row boating going into corners--
Lean it in and the back wheel was trying to stand me back up as I went over the lump
