    Grub's Auckland Funeral (Fri 14 Nov)

    A second funeral service to celebrate Grubs (Brett) life will be held on Friday 14th November at Purewa Cemetry and Crematorium, 100-102 St Johns Road, Meadowbank. The service is at 1:30.

    Kari extends a warm welcome to anyone that wants to come along. Please ride your bikes and come along to help her say goodbye to her lover.

    After the Funeral we will head for the 'The Flying Moa' Pub in Lunn Ave for a drink.

    Meet at PlaceMakers Mt Wellington on Lunn Ave.

    Then its turn left out of there and right at a traffic island into College Road.

    Next traffic island turn left onto St Johns Road. Purewa is not far from there.


    Leaving time will 1pm from PlaceMakers Mt Wellington

    Edit: If the weather is horrible though, I'll be forced to use my car. With my current precious cargo, I only ride if the weather's fine.

    Bret is being farwelled in Wellington at a memorial service on Thursday, details tbc at this stage, we will have a bike cavalcade to escort him to Wellington Airport so Kari can bring him to Auckland where his family are. Bret was a special man, and as such deserves 2 funeral services. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

    thanks for that. can you please pm me when the wellington details have been worked out? susan and i will both be in wellington. main things i need to know is location and time. [leave from where, when, where to etc]
    sadly we wont be able to attend auckland, but im glad we are able to do something to honor him. are donations or flowers etc wanted? plate of food or something like that?

    The Wellington service should hopefully be organised today, either me or Kari will post up a seperate thread.

    folks if any outa towners want to attend on a bike I have 3 bikes I have available to loan.
    (on a you bend it you own it basis)

    Hi all I plan on riding down to Grubs memorial service thursday morning and come home the same day. Give me a pm if ya want to ride down as a group.
