if someone has signed for delivery and its not you then get a copy and go to the police, or at least tell the courier company thats what your going to do signing someone elses signature is fraud. see what happens then

I swear they only come into Pukekohe once a week and even then only when I stalk the driver. Husband has to use them at work and (Patumahoe just out of Pukekohe) and regularly has customers ringing to ask where their package is. They then stalk sloway and it finally gets delivered.
For me the average wait round here is 1 to 2 weeks per package. Although every 3rd delivery or so will be on time...just to confuse me.
ah the joys of living just outside Auckland

The same knockers cry the same about NZ Post, this is more like the truth of the matter 85 % were never sent, 12 % poorly addressed or became unreadable in transit, delay in delivery, 1 1/2 % Received but by Dishonest Person, 1% poorly packed, obviously broken = opps got lost, 1/2 % Lost. Best Advice, always double address, always pack so parcel will withstand being at the bottom of a cage with 600kg of freight on top of it. Fragile always pack Box in Box with soft crush barrier. Not all tracking numbers are immediately entered to their online tracking system, best to call your local depot with tracking number if concerned.

bulshit- both of you! I simply dont believe either of you- you must be living with their dispatch clerk or something!

when I was a little younger and greener I worked as a north island rep for a power tool company, I had to deal with warrenty issues and regularly couriered power tools back to the company I worked for. When we started using fastway our parcels started dissapearing with ridiculous regularity .
two in the same week was getting a bit much!

My mate had a surfware shop and had similar problems with them. Whole consignments of Billabong stuff going astray - 4 boxes at a time
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......

Ill second that i worked for one of NZs larger courier Cos of 7 years up untill 2002 half the shit that gose missing is internal theift we had a 30' tv go missing a huge number of chainsaws weed eaters all in one week as for damages let not go there half the numb skulls that do the fr8 sorting just dont give a shit and most of the time involved in the steeling of the stuff in the 1st place they sort it in to the wrong courier vans fr8 cage he then takes it and keeps it or drops it to some one on the road. As he was never ment to get it he is never suspected. As for the stuff that dosnt get signed for couriers just sign it off them selfs once they get use to del points and whos who.

Been a few years since I dealt with freight on a regular basis... good to hear that Fastways are still utter crap.
