CAGIVA CANYON 2007 500 cc FOR SALE

    Cagiva (Ducati) Canyon 500
I have purchased the bike seven months ago as a commuter. It is a perfect bike for this purpose. Very low consumption, can sneak in between cars ;O) and it is very quick too!

extremely reliable, easy start hot or cold,
You can hardly feel a passenger behind, surprising for 499 cc engine!
    REGO 26/06 2008
    Purchased new in NZ
    seven months old.
    Silver
    no damage at all
very fine minor scratches from shoes when boarding. It might be possible to even remove it. You can hardly see them.

Max speed unknown I have tried about 140 and it was still fine and very stable. If accelerating fast , you need to watch not to make wheelie at every lights!

This bike is more than capable of gravel roads and when fitted right tires, dirt track too.

It is in an excellent conditions, never damaged or crashed, still under warranty, serviced regularly, and after 1000, 3000, and 5000 km changed all liquids. (Oil filter replaced after 5000).

Reason to sell? It has done its purpose = saved me a lots of money for every day travel to work. Now I want to buy a bigger bike again!!

Feel free to call my work

    I Had One!!

Was this one trademe a couple of months back??

I had one back in holland and liked it heaps..
Until i crashed it.. wasnt sure if i could get parts in nz thats why i sold it back there.
Only to find that there are dealers here..
I'd call it a very comfy supermotard!
love the looks. engine likes to rev heaps! very addicting! dont get me started on the exhaust pipes/note sooo pretty!
I've got Dr 650 now for more off road capability.
I reckon the canyon 500 would be ultimate thumper gravel/road bike for NZ conditions.
Btw the 34hp/25kw that would be the restricted version I had wich i needed for my dutch restricted license. It will have a red metal restricting gasket on the inlet between the carb and the head if its restricted. if it dont it'll be more like 40 something HP.
Its got a 19 or20 L tank iirc? Better than my 12l dr.......
did i mention how it could outrun a f650....
I got my 25kw'r up to 170kmh but mine didnt have the high screen so that wasnt verry comfy
