Hi guys .. here are the times/plans with the crew who are coming down via SH 1

Those heading from Taranaki, Palmy, shannon .. Meet at BP Levin from 11.am,
Leave 11.20 sharp

(slight stop at Te Horo to pick up xr rider opp red cafe)

Arrive Pram Mobil (by lights) arrive 12.noon leave by 12.20pm & head to Paekakareki Hill (Grubs favourite road) .. stop on look out for 15 mins & head to Pahatanui inlet for a regroup before the short ride into Whitby with time to get organised, chat & relax before service starts at 2pm

I think suburbia can handle this one. I'm a neighbour, I say go for it. So long as we ride responsibly, it'll be safe and Grubb will have given the kids something to remember forever! My kids ain't going to miss it.

I'll be on the ride, also Andrew (BMW Dakar) who met Brett two weekends ago will come along

You're not supposed to quote a PM, but I'm going to anyway. This is what's wrong with my map of Whitby:

1) when going up Spinnaker, people need to _turn left at _Discovery Drive__ and then keep going until the church. Your directions say that once on Spinnaker keep going until you get to the church.

2) the marker on the map (B on this first one, then I think A on a subsequent one), actually takes you to Samuel Marsden School, which is about half a click from Kari's place. I'm pretty sure that most people will suss this and follow the crowd however.

I actually rode the route this evening and came to much the same conclusion, only less accurate because it was one of my thoughts.

Anyway, I'll put a gently revised map up tomorrow morning.
