Newbish to welly (polcat)

Hi guys, just joined this yesterday, what a great resource, I am a returning biker after a 20 odd yr break, had to do the old licence thing back in 2000 with the next ride a ducati st2.
made a coupe of other bike changes after that to move to Wellington 2 1/2 years ago from the SI, got a Vstrom 1000 back in April which has been great to get around the place as well as being a brilliant touring machine so slowely working our way around the island with treks to Napier and the central areas covering the cycle atlas roads. great to be able to do this with like minded people and Wellington is full of keen starters.
roll on the good times.

After such a break I forgot how this pastime frees the mind, body and the soul!!

look forward to seeing some of you on a ride or 2

yup but we go back often, the rides down there are fab!!

, aside from the bottom island we have covered most of them, hopefully there will be an organised fang down there next year, will keep a lookout.

Moved up to Welywood 2 years ago myself, from deepest Invergumboot!

There are some great roads and rides here..... but yeh the south has it for biking roads.. shame we couldnt shift the islands so the decent weather was there???

See you on the road I'll guess if you turn up on Sunday mornings or the evening rides!
