I remember seeing that on SVRider.com. Just one of many nice mods people have done to the SV650.

Looks nice, but not my cup of SV. I see Novembers issue of Performance bikes has a good write up about tuning the SV along with UK costs.

On the JHS racing site it reckons you can get 84 bhp just with a K&N filter, stage 2 cams and an exhaust. Anybody know someone in NZ that tunes SVs? I'm thinking of tuning mine up (within F3 rules). Guess I'll also need gixxer front and rear suspenders too and someone to revalve and shim them for my lardy arse....oh and a race fairing upper, and a tail unit...and sponsorship to pay for it...and racing lessons lmao

Mine has a full Two Bothers exhaust and I've had a race filter fitted and the jets drilled out with mixture tuned to match. This had given me more top end. I then had the gear ratio changed with new sprockets which gave me an extra 10kph top speed down the backstraight at Pukekohe. :bigthumb: All work was done by Colemans Suzuki.

I will look into getting the stage 2 cams next. I'd like to get the 700cc kit fitted, but that’s serious money.

Spankme, why not just wait and get an SV1000:roadkill:

Hmmm, got my bike from Colemans...maybe I'll see what they can do and how much...then start saving.

Because I don't want a bigger bike, just a bigger engine. The SV650s is the perfect size for me. Plus I don't like the new SV styling.
