I've lost my friggin keys... What do I do now?

    Help....please!
OK, so I'm a dumb arse... I lost my keys to my ZXR, and can't find my spare set.

Is there some lock code or somewhere so I get a new one cut? if so where is it? on the ignition barrel somewhere? (I know on cars it's the drivers door)

It's on the passenger door on a ZXR.

suck's when that happen's . you may have to take your ignition barrel off and take it to a locksmith, they should be able to make a new key to fit. i had to do that a few year's back

What you do is thank your lucky stars it's not a modern bike.

You'd be looking at a grand to sort out something with an immobiliser.

get your vin/frame number. take it to a kawasaki dealer they should be able to sort one for yah. may need ID
that was the only way i could get a new key for my Buell. after I lost the only key it came with, had to wait 6 weeks for them.

Um, yes...... I guaranteed that this would happen by following these steps...
    1. Angle grind off the lock, move bike to a more secure location overnight.
2.Take friggin public transport home, and I HATE BUSES!
3.Turn room upside down, twice(accompanied by the appropriate swearing and cursing).....locate spare set of keys
    4. Take spare set to locksmith on the way to work
    5. Arrive at work to find them hanging behind my desk where i now have a vague recollection of putting them(instead of my usual place... ie with the rest of my gear) SHAME I COULDN"T HAVE REMEMBERED YESTERDAY!!!!

    I think it is beer'o'clock ...

This deserved a bump to keep it on the front page....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
