    RS250 For Sale

It's had the top end rebuilt at Dave Cooper Racing. DCR powervalves. Arrow cans. New Wiseco pistons. New nicasil linings. Mildly ported. Mildly worked heads.

New braided hoses and HH pads. Powdercoated wheels. New Zero Gravity screen. New battery. Powdercoated subframe, with the extra bits taken off.
Forks reworked by by DCR. New Nitron rear shock with remote reservoir. Silicon hoses.

Spare set of bodywork in various colours that could be used for racing with a coat of matt black! Spare rear subframe. Spare (original) exhausts with Dave Swarbrick end cans. Rear pegs and passenger seat included (not fitted).

Been in the family for most of its life. Five thousand miles on the bottom end. Never been dropped. All original paintwork. Paint is still good, considering its age, and it isn't really in need of a spray job.

Will have compliance completed before it goes.

    $10k, or very near offer.

It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

Very nice... could I be so bold as to ask what the shipping costs to and from DCR on the top end were?

If you're new to strokers, know that the DCR gear is considered top notch for RGV and RS250s

No shipping costs at all. His pet monkey - Matt - lived round the corner from where I used to. Pick up and drop off for the whole bike was free.

    Fitting wasn't.. far from it

    Close to that price..

It's heaps better than the ones down the road that have enough mileage on to need whipping apart for a rebuild.

It really is lovely.. and sounds the dogs. I went in and had a look today.. I wish I could afford to keep it - just to look at. But.. needs must..

You said that it had a nitron rear shock, Does that mean you have the original shock spare? I want to put a new shock in my nc35 and I have heard that with a quick tweak here and a spanner there you can put an rs250 shock in.

    Bump bump..

It's just dropped to $9500 in Colemans.

If you bought it to use on the road, the spare bodywork could be flogged off to make it even better value than it is now.
