My bike is stock except for gearing, rear shock and stock muffler from another bike and the 12.94 run was done with all road trim (mirrors/plate etc) and in need of a tune!!

Was your carb jetted for the new exhaust? Your getting me all excited now - i as i was hoping for a low 14sec.
mind due my reaction times will be high.

Yeah I think hoon's reaction times were in the 0.55s bracket which is practically perfect (0.5 is perfect), and in the 3 runs i saw him do they were all within 0.05s of each other.

We could start a tent village next to Meremere. Do the Coro loop Sat and then all we would need is a place to pitch Sat night handy to Paeroa (and a drunking hole ) and it would be one sweet weekend

you not wanting to go down the SH22? I can do half a day (which is about that) on Saturday, and I'll be at the drags tomorrow, and BOS on sunday..
What ever you get up to on Saturday, I should be able to tag along for a little while

OK last dragwars I did a best of 12.94@165kph(104mph). I've just been looking at the NZDRA website and see that this beats the national record for D/SB 400cc class by 0.05s ?!?!?

Does anyone know what the rules are for street bike class or is there something I'm missing??

Don't quote me on this,but in the street meets I'm pretty sure your reactions don't affect your times,only whether you win or loose,Ive lost runs with a faster time but a slower reaction.....
BTW anyone NOT going to paeroa on sunday???

oh man why does everything pile like a heap of shit, for the one day i take off for the drags. Dont worry should still be turning up guys - but prob a little later than expected (ill be 2 up to!).
I think ill sleep now, get up really early in the morn and start work on the bike, then go to airport, then go to uni (for the 3rd time), then go see studylink (for the 6th time), then work on bike more (rat is gettin new blue pants), pick up misses, leather up, go to drags.....
Oh yeh im also gonna fix my mates computer (yeah right!)

You are correct. The time you are given for the quarter mile is exactly the time given for the quarter mile. Your reaction time will effect whether you make it over the line first or not. You can lose a race with a faster quarter mile time if your slow reactions mean you pass the finish line after the your opponent.

Yeah its not that part I'm unsure about (I'll need a drag licence and compete during the Nats in March). I'm curious as to what mods are allowed for streetstock class. If its just a matter of swapping back in a few non-essential stock bits then I might give it a crack.
