I guess seeing as im on a 250 at the moment, I shall join in tomorrow. I can also take up the Tail End Charlie position as my gearing will only let me get up to just over 80kph. If anyone wants to turn up early give me a bell as I finish work in the hutt at 5pm, so I usually find myself riding around aimlessly until 6 when everyone starts turning up.
I hope to be there, as long as I don't have work commitments.
Congratulations. Well Done.
Daylight Saving Tuesday Ride Program Until 31 March
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy...The Eagles
I have an event on prior but will try to be there by 630pm.
Can't make it to the regular Welly evening rides, but Tuesdays are free, so I'm gonna try to get to this - sounds like fun :-)
Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam!
Cool, if possible I'll be waiting by at the traffic island on the other side of the hill to meet you guys whenever you turn up. See you there hopefully.

My bike stalled when going around a corner and up a steep hill - gear too high
So when it stalled it started tilting over immediately and I couldn't stop it. Managed to lay it down gently but the weight of the bike broke the clutch lever. No damage to the bike except for broken lever.
Got a call from the workshop they had to order a lever from Auckland and it'll be here on Thursday.
So I'll see you all next week, as I am bikeless for the next couple of days.
Me and my bloody luck.
Yup,
was a good relaxed ride. It was very good to meet everyone - very friendly group. Will definitely be going to some more of these rides.
Stunning sunset on the way back through Petone as well (just managed to get home before it got too dark for my visor).
Ben
Yeah the red skys over wellington looked absolutely stunning. Almost stopped to take a photo however realised my 5 megapixel camera on my phone probably wouldn't do it justice.
Was getting a bit dark for my tinted visor so had to ride back in with it up. Only got hit in the face once by a bug :slap: Will have to remember to switch it out for next Tuesday.
I recommend bringing a spare clear visor for the ride home (slip it around your side inside the jacket above the waist.... fits well there) or sunglasses and fit a clear visor for the whole ride.
Good to see more riders there.
Great ride every one, thanks. And thanks again to buck Buck. These rides are most enjoyable. Great people, great destinations, and as we all discovered the most stunning sunsets I have ever seen! Wow - that was awesome.
Thought it was a really good turn out last night. It's so good to have something like this to look forward to every week.
See you all next week.
A really enyoyable ride last night and yes that sunset over the Wellington harbour a real beauty.
Thanks Toaster and Eugene for your assistance.
I have a map for next Tuesday :
Tuesday 23 February Ride
Riders from last night may want to do this ride over the weekend with a another rider.
I will do a ride Saturday or Sunday morning on this route from the Duckpond if there is any interest.
