I'm guessing you mean the long track with the old corner into hairpin? Before the A1 corner went in?

Dont think i've seen it since the A1 Started there (give or take some repairs).

I remember the flip-flops before the A1 corner went in. Wish someone would use it again cos that was great for little bikes.

    Yes

It's still all there.... very technical. We have a choice of track set up and can specify track 1 or 4 when hiring the full track. Run a poll for me (I don't know how to do a poll yet!) How many people would like Track 4?

Track one is much better! Track four just ruins the fun of Turn eight because you have to brake early.

    Track one...

The whole place is a bit fiddly for anything bigger than F3, don't slow it more!!

Good point ... but the long track is just the addition of 2 straights and a sweeper so from my point of view the longer and more the better.

I realize most people will prefer the track one but at least I have memories of the fantastic flip-flops! Love that technical tight stuff!

Haven't ridden Track 4, but I agree that Track 1 is probably better. Turns 8 and 9 are my favourite part and it'd be a shame to replace the nice flow of that section with more fiddly bits.

Use to love track 4 when I was on the 250's wouldn't like them on any thing more than say a 400cc.

I agree, have been on both and Track 1 is definitely more flowing...

I've done tracks 1, 2 and 3 but never track 4. I think it'd be interesting to try.

i love track 4, was the first one i did at taupo as a pillion... the flip flops are awesome... makes it a bit more technical and fun compared to the big fast A1gp corner.... i reckon bikes would like the track 4 configuration
(plus i get more of a chance against bigger bikes, hehe...)
ther eis lots of ground to gain through the flip flops of yoru good at them and have the courage to go hard into them.. i noticed a lot of people break too much and take funny lines
i actually thought taupo didnt rent out the 4 configuration anymore.... but would be nice to do it sometimes
