On sale now - need input on what it's worth

    Hi guys

I need some input on what I should be expecting for my bike in the current market. One guy has offered $9500 and I am hesitant as I think it's worth more. What would you pay for this? (listing on TradeMe)

    -----------

Magma red in colour, turns an orange in sunlight. Have only seen one other.

I have a second child now so have been told that this baby needs to go. It is by far the best bike I have ridden. Plenty of power to move, light enough to manoeuvre, narrow enough to scoot between the traffic.

    SECURITY:
Fully Data Dotted by the dealer for security. (www.datadot.co.nz)

    CARE & RECENT PARTS:
Stored under cover at home and work. It gets comments any time it's out.
It has been EXTREMELY well taken care of. I am a bit obsessive about it.

Has had new chain (gold) & sprockets (front & rear) and 2 new tyres (Bridgestone) done less than 5K, all service history available. Just come out of shop getting a pre season service & make over to replace some panels.

I dropped it in crawling traffic because I was not paying attention. Very embarrassing but only cosmetic damage (dealer will verify this if you like). Decided to get it all done over to match paint colour and get rid of stone chips. (yes, I said I was obsessive). Photos show only imperfections I can find.

    EXTRAS:
On top of standard spec, comes with lots of aftermarket stuff (some imported directly from overseas):
    - Rear seat cowl
    - Micron Hi-flow exhaust (rated at 107db, sounds very nice)
    - K&N air filter
    - Scottoiler, automatic chain oiler
    - Tinted double bubble windscreen (original pictured, new one on order)
    - Oggy Knobs
    - Integrated tail light
    - Integrated front indicator lights
    - Recessed number plate (still legal)

Original parts come with it including original:
    - Exhaust and assembly
    - Rear seat
    - Rear pegs,
    - Lights, etc
    - Plus everything you see in the photo

    DETAILS:
I am pretty firm on the price. It has been obsessively taken care of, does not see a track, and has almost showroom quality panels with hardly a scratch. Will suit someone equally obsessive as me.

Willing to talk about adding a warranty if you are willing to come to the party.

    FINANCING:
Financing also available for the right person.

You know I've been chattin to a good mate of mine about all the fancy extras that come with a bike (aftermarket this and that), it doesnt' necessarily add price value, or sometimes at all to a bike.

No doubt it's a beautiful bike and the money you've spent on the after-market bits is definitely not cheap, but you have to remember the true value of the bike is not reflected on the all aftermarket bits but the bike itself. End of the day aftermarket bits are not necessities and it's more of a 'want' then a 'need', and unfortunately you'll never get back what you've paid of it.

Of course I am not here to say those add ons aren't nice and would prefer a bike that's been tricked out over one that hasn't (because it saves $ me in buying crash knobs, etc..) but if I was tight on cash, I'll definitely choose the cheaper 7.5 k 636 over the 10.5 k with trick bits.

Just put the bike up for sale at your asking price. I think if you aren't urgent in selling the bike then just observe and see what the market is offering. Have you taken the bike to a bike shop to see how much they value the bike at? It does look stunning and very well maintained.
