Oh there's far more than what's evident in the pic mate. But yes, the costs ramp up rapidly if you start having to hire expertise for rigging, rags and fancy electronics. Don't know what it owed me, could be worth anywhere between $250 - $350K completed, depending on fit-out quality and toys.

Sorry to hear O1, I know she meant a fair bit to you.

No drama m'dear, the decision is months old, more. I genuinely did get me jollies building it, the actual sailing would have been good, but I'm happy.

So what bike ya gonna buy with the proceeds?
