Should I buy these tyres?

A pair of Medium Pilot power race.
Used for one trackday, 12 months ago, not been used since.
4.5mm on the front and 4.8mm tread on the rear.

Was thinking of using them as a sunny sunday tyres on my 600 to get me through the summer (im broke).

I bought them off trademe, but meant to withdraw my bid as was unsure, but I forgot...

is the age anything to be concerned about, and what do you guys think of these tyres on the road?

i used power races on my 600 18 months or so ago, i liked them but i am a michelin tire fan.

Lasted well, stuck well. Not meant to handle as many heat cycles as other race compound tires, but if sunday ride tyres, not communting as fun tires, should be sweet for a while.

really depends on how they been stored for last year. should have manfucated date on the side wall, find that

i run second hand tyres all the time. In the past I have run 4 yr old tyres that did a good job. Every now and then you get a dud. I had a 2 yr old front that I put on and it was cracked to hell.
Paying about $50/tyre so even if I throw a couple out I still think I am on the win.
