    I would be keen

    but have not been there before., wherebouts is it located? I thought meremere was the only drag strip in the vicinity of auckland...

    Keep heading south on SH1, through Hamilton towards Taupo.
    The drag strip's on the south side of town, to the left, at the airfield.
