I thought the maxiscoot ones locked into underside od the bottom allen bolt "studs" and then hold the head on,
If not is there only reason for being to provide access for the to closely spaced 50cc stud pattern?
If thats the case why attach them to the head a all?

They provide access to the studs and they fill the space above those studs in order to create decent flow paths for the auxiliary exhaust ducts and the B-transfers.
Where else? You can't just screw them into the cylinder; they need to be held in a fixed position. The small pins indicated by the arrows are taking care of that.If thats the case why attach them to the head a all?
