    I would say that you can still get pretty fucked up and lose a lot of skin. I think the biggest difference is that on a pushie you just CANNOT wear all the gear because you would probably pass out with heat stroke and crash - making wearing all the gear more dangerous than not wearing it.

    I guess thats why I dont see many (if any) scooter riders wearing any safety gear. One helmet and acres of bare skin... Because they might pass out ???... mmmm

    Nup - people on motorbikes or motorscooters that are not wearing the appropriate gear do so because of a lack of thinking. They don't think about the consequences of a spill or take the potential dangers too lightly.
