    Review - Knox chest guard

I bought Knox chest guard from Qmoto. I got to try it for the first time last weekend at MotoTT track day.

While I can't give any opinion how well it crashes since I managed to stay up, I can say it wasn't annoying or uncomfortable. Just put between the leathers and your chest and forget about it and ride safer.

At $139 I think it's a good buy and offers good protection for chest and ribs. Especially with the street races coming up with curbs etc.

The only thing was, it took a while to get it delivered (about 3 weeks).

    cheers

Could the delay in delivery been when it was clearing customs? There was a delay there, but Paula kept in touch when mine was being delivered.

The chest armour is a little fiddly getting it right the first time, but once I had it placed, it slotted on very nicely afterwards. Don't really notice it is there, makes you look a bit bigger, and less likely anyone will want to cause a fuss with you

I binned the first time I wore it... slow on gravel around 30kph... unfortunately, I decided my unprotected hip was a better landing pad than the protected chest or back () so I can't tell you how it does either

... I got one off Quasi as well, to go with the Knox Aegis back protector. It fits well under my jacket without any hassles. I'm in no hurry to find out how good it is, but I'm sure it will do the job well!
I appreciate the efforts of you other guys .... in getting closer to discovering how good they are !!
