    One Week to Valentines Day

Have you got a special someone, or someones, for the 14th?

I personally would love to hear some valentine day stories?

Like, what was the best gift you ever got? What was the worst?

Why do you girls like getting? What do guys like getting?

Seriously, does anyone like getting the traditional roses, chocolate and card?

Has anyone been proposed to, or got married on the day?

Has anyone had a date that went horribly wrong?

I'll start ... I like getting something thoughtful. Doesn't mean expensive. I got a poem once, and it was about 5 lines long, and written on a piece of scrap paper. Best Valentines gift I've ever had.

i was thinking of a midnight picnic at mission bay, bottle of bubbly, cheeses or nibbles, and desert movenpick ice creams across the road. that's all depending on the weather.

a picnic at night is great under the stars. sponatneous. find a nice spot watching the sunsetting, or even better if your morning people watch the sun come up. what a way to start the day. picnic again. the roads are quiet people are still sleeping, and i couldn't think of a better way to starting the day.

espically when you have work later on that day. your partner would love it. make them feel special.

courier some flowers to arrive about lunch time. try and make it a day event not a morning or night thing a whole day thing. i dare you all to take up the challenge.

and night maybe a stroll on the beach or a walk. it's not about gifts, it's about love, and spending some time together. it does not cost alot.

you have over a week people try it and lets see what happens afterwards. put your thinking caps on.

and remember its a private couple thing no groups, see how romantic you can get.

going for a ride and cuddling up under a blanket is amazing. come on bikers i know you can do it.

Well apart from getting engaged on Valentines Day when I was 17!, it has been a bit of a non-event since then - I've either been single or been in a relationship with an arsehole who ignored Valentines Day! So I don't tend to get too excited about it these days.

Mrs Random and I got married on 18 February, 4 days late...

The best Valentine's Day present I ever got, I bought for myself, about 8 years ago - the Citizen watch I still wear.

I didn't even realise it was 14 Feb until I was walking away from the shop. But I figured I must have been a pretty great guy to subconsciously inspire myself to such heights of romantic gift-giving

Mrs H and I were wed on 28 February -- two weeks late!

If things progress smoothly, Mrs H may get a brand new Marauder for this year's St Valentine's Day...

Never had a Valentines, but this year, hehe, yay. Do favours of the immoral kind count as gifts??

As an Official Arbiter of Favours of the Immoral, could you please be more specific?

A mate got hitched on the 29th so he would never forget the day and their anniversary.
