Well, cheers - I guess I don't need to watch the taped game tomorrow.

i'm not sure how the world cup rules compare to the NRL.

NRL man of the match always goes to the winning team.
i guess it's just some way for the aussies to console themselves by giving it to the LOSING team

I predict he'll blame the run of easy matches up to the final not giving his team the build up they needed compared with the Kiwis playing England in the semi-final.

Turned the telly on we were 12 nil down, thought......'here we go again'.

    Very pleasantly surprised!!!

Great to se the OZ shafted in their own back yard.

It would of been an awesome experience there, as we went to State of O number 2 this year there and the ground is simply amazing when full.
The pubs just up the road from the ground would of been filled with tears, not beers.

Same as I fell asleep to wake up to the Kiwi's scorring their last try,
Good game this morning with the Blacks

    Thumbs up

Why don't the NZRFU get rid of Graham Henry and replace him with Steve Kearney ????

At least he can coach a team that actually wins the world cup....

Hmmm...yeah, But........theres Wayne Bennett's influence and I reckon that would be quite significant.

Good game Kiwis. Highlights just how good Steven Price is. Aus/Warriors are a 20 point worse team without him.

And just how good Wayne Bennet is. Go Saints!

Disappointing, but hopefully it also revitalises the game internationally - like when Eng won the ashes.

The bit I saw with Sticky Stewart interviewed - he said they were 'out muscled'.

Watched it AFTER clicking on teletext and seeing the result, chaneel surfed shortly after and found replay on maori tv,was bloody good time around 46mins and 22-20 after Aussie had just scored, even better was the comments about the kiwis penalty try,bit dicey and tough call to make.

For once the team seemed to believe in themselves, even when 12 points down, was good to hear the jersey handing out guy was Mark Graham, must have given good advice, well done.
