    Draggin Jeans Kevlar?

I'm pretty keen to get hold of similar fabric that you find in Draggin Jeans and other such apparel. I would like to either retrofit clothing with it for use on the bike. Or make a Jacket from scratch that doesn't balloon out around the waist when hunched over a sportsbike, making me look obese. Anyone local, in NZ, or ships cheaply to NZ that stocks this fabric?

Also interested in Carbon Fibre. It looks good on boots. Might look good on a jacket in the right places. Cordura would also be good to get hold of.

Look for suppliers of Aramid Fibre.

Without Draggin's significant economies of scale, you may find yourself gasping at the cost.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

This is the Kevlar stuff we used to use for making FIre performance wicks etc, i dunno if it's the same as the kevlar used in Draggin's but they sell thread, lengths/rolls etc.... which may b e good for re-inforcing stitching?

I was expecting it to cost me, and take time and require skills I haven't got yet. But that's part of the fun innit?

I know Kevlar weave for bodywork costs $45 per meter, 600ml wide. Suppose that could be used, but I'm sure there's a good reason why Draggins have that woollen shirt like weave rather than simple twill.

I'm aware Kevlar is a brand name for Aramid. Like NOS is to Nitrous.

Sweet. That's worth looking into. Those strips might be enough to reinforce something, and Kevlar thread was the next thing to find. Cheers.
