    the power is being taxed by your hair straightner and blow dryer, disconnect these two essential items and it should go

    Nah its not. Haven't checked the laser hair-removal machine though - I'll unplug that and see what happens.

    For those who are interested, the transmitter has a quad NAND gate, Holtek ht-12e remote control encoder chip, and a 433MHz micrf102bm transmitter SOIC.

    Ok Bud, pleased to help. Its the tiny soldering job that needs doing properly. He'll need a quality de-soldering station.
