    Manfeild Track/Training Day, December 16

Hey all. rz2rf on this site has organised another track/training day at Manfeild for December 16.
Brian Bernard will be there for coaching.
    $80.00 for the day.
Contact rz2rf (Lloyd) on 06 763 8455, or 027 204 0810. Don't bother with PMs, his internet connection speed is slower than the second coming of Christ.
We did the last one that Lloyd organised last June... had a great day!

    See you there!

Might try going but need to talk to the doc first as i'm gettin my bollocks snipped on the 12th
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

Mashman... It's a pretty relaxed format. On the last one in June there was a mix of learners to racers, with no-one feeling held up or intimidated. Brian is there for coaching everyone from beginners to experts.
Give Lloyd a call, he'll have all the gen
Rock on up, you'll have a ball!

    Hi man,
riding 4 days after the snip might be cutting it a bit close. I paid after ignoring my quacks advice in similar circumstances, and that was ust commuting. Moving around on the track might prolong the healing. I might give this day a go.

Jesus can you guys quit it with the sarcasm... everytime i hear "you'll have a ball" or "cutting it a bit close" I involuntarily crack my nuts off my pelvis as they run and find a place to hide...

Hopefully things have moved on since the 50's Clivoris ... Be a shame if i couldn't make the day...

Cheeky Bastidge. Surely I didn't have it done that long ago? My snip went really well. I was so impressed with the recovery ( I followed all instructions re icing the area) that 2 days after I went for a wee ride to work. The best description I can give is that it provoked discomfort. The doctor warned me not to, but I felt so good and thought I knew better. You might get away with it though. Your nuts might not get in the way so much
I'm all signed up for the track day. Might take both bikes up. Been a while since I've had the Ape on the track.

heh!!! Yup, pretty much as you said it... they don't recommend it... not even for a commute for at least 5 days, 10 would be better... I mentioned that I could wear a cricket box to protect the afore mentioned area after the assault and whilst that may be good for direct contact protection, it ain't gonna help if i'm moving around to much...

I've put my name down on the cancellations list, just wish I knew someone that I could... erm... nobble!!!

Humph... looks like i'll have to wait til the next one... have fun!!!!

    How'd your op go?

Worst part I found was all the mashing around with bulldog clips that the surgeon did before getting the local in.

Not too bad. Fortunately for me the mashing about took place after he stabbed me with what felt like a red hot poker... twice... A bit tender today, but nothing too bad, a lot les John Wayne... I suffered the ow ow ow moments last night as i tried to roll over to sleep on my stomach...

Unfortunately he started on the right one before the local had taken properly... fark that was a painful irritation I hope never to experience again, well, as the nurse put it "he looks like he's in a bit of discomfort Jim"... ya THINK... in with another needle, granted i never felt that one, then after that there was a bit of show and tell and a hoppity skip home (via the bike shop for some new tyres (oops)... damn those pills were good... shame they didn't last longer...).

I'm sure the rewards will be reaped sometime after christmas without being followed by the obligatory bundle of joy....

The worst part for me, undergoing this operation, was when the doctor snuck a very small rubber-band around my knob then attached the other end to a button on my shirt....."Just to keep your Willie out of the way," said he.

There I was paying for hi-tech but got the low-tech, Willie-out-of-the-way solution.

He must have had fucking good eyesight since by then my willie had more or less disappeared in terror.

And when the assistant nurse smirked? Well.......

I wanted to say to her, "Now listen here, Puss. When my man-servant gets active women swoon, governments fall, war breaks out."

But, of course, there was my man-servant looking rather like a very small, very frightened raisin. So such a statement may well have fallen on deaf ears.

Mate, when my specialist got wind it was an insurance job he went the whole hog. Admission, general anesthetic, little sandwiches with cucumber and tuna. Still hurt like fuck afterwards though. And the swelling, oh the swelling. My nuts went from this big to this big.

    My nuts are fine !
    Just a Bump !
Who else is gonna get in on this opportunity ?
Be bloody nice to see Lloyd Break even at least here !
Not many would have the balls (scuse the pun guys) to invest in something like this, for the benefit of others !!!!(well he is obviously included)
Give ya boss a call, tell him your crook and wont be in to work tommorrow and give Lloyd a call to let him know your coming !
(just been in touch with him and there is still room for a few more )
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
