Maybe this is OOOOOLD news...but a quick trawl and Googling didnt turn anything up so...

    HOWEVER...
Seems that the whoever-is-to-be-blamed people thought it was a fan-fricking-tastic idea to patch up mid-corner section of lane with loose-chip since the road was blocked off etc.

Yeah, the corners i know many if yall would be easy getting knee/pegs down on. Until out of frikin nowhere a patch of light-grey comes into view, you hear the tinkle of gravel on the belly of yer bike and then your anal sphincter is the next muscle to respond.

Lucky i was wearing my brown pants. And my left peg bounced my bike up straight... along with the small undulations in the road surrounding the loose chip...

Don't know how long it will take for all that crap to get cleared but it could easily FUBAR someones mint summer ride

Maybe my idea of "dodgy corner patches" is actually "all good" by most others...?

ToTo does be a more experienced rider I methinks...but anyhoos, hope the ride tomorrow goes sweet

while i ride my 5-wheeler at work at 1pm...the rolly-chair

ah yes...i was referring to sections of mint twisty road between Whitford and Kaiaua...i know theres a decent helping of it, but where?
My senseof timiung sucks as bad as loose chip in a corner...
But its on the uphill section of I THINK Kawakawa-Orere Rd...rather than the Clevedon-Kawakawa Rd? Again, maybe Todds visited uber recently too and knows what I be on about...
