Looking at the seat unit, I'd give yourself more front-to-back room (longer seat) or you'll be trapped in place too much.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

then just glass over top (doesn't react) and then just remove.
I hunted around for epoxi and again found that most boat shops sell it very cheap (about $35 per litre).
anyway I hope this might save you a little time.

Is that the blue foam that comes in big blocks? I used that at school and tried for ages to find stuff like it. Asked on KB a few times. Had no luck. The expandable foam was the next best option. I'm keen on that foam for future projects. Go to a boat builders to get it?

You might see between the tail and tank the wood that held both has been cut. I was making it to look cool and forgot that I'd have to sit in it and I made it very tiny. I did fit, barely, but couldn't move. plus my legs were too long for the tank indentations. I'll be setting it further back. It was just further forward for the mock up photos so it'd sit on the frame.

Also the tail was meant to curve out where the frame curves out. That's too far forward so I'm going to have to modify the seat a wee bit.
