    And so...

    To summarise,

There seem to be 3 prongs to the "replacement" weekend attack.

    1) A track hire session for an informal hack and slash for those that want to cane their steeds around ruapuna, where somebody unknown to all of us will probably turn up on a bucket and whip both WT _AND_ Aaron...

    2) An organised paid HRC organised session with hopefully still dean fulton and jared love, but maybe not, where those of us virginal to smooth black stuff with no lanes and no traffic can get some advice and some unhindered track time

    3) A ride somewhere....

I'm just gonna wait till Robyn mails me back - like the rest of you i've already sent my cheque...

This from a email from Robyn, NB the training day is on a wednesday

    Hi D

Well if nothing else you have put a smile on my face – my email is running red hot. I have made a decision to run with the Track Day and if there is sufficient interest we could put together some activities and rides over the weekend – we had organised some rides for the Monday and Tuesday so maybe there will just be a few more rides on offer and a few more people.

Will stay in touch and everyone will be welcome what ever we come up with.

    Cheers Robyn

not not from me there isent yet sorry.
I dont think peops that havent got them selves a ferry ticket will be comming, this attempt at organising something is more aimed at those that already have a ferry ticket and now have nothing to come down too.

No have not heard from Robyn ether (in fact you've got more than I have, Dangerous).

She may be still waiting on us KB'ers to come up with something. Would it be possible to run a bike only track day like the Manfeild Trackdays the CD motorcycle club run (I'd prefur Sun for this)?

    Speaking of ferry crossings ...

Anyone who's already booked their ferry crossing should double check whether they need to change it due to one of the ferrys being out of commission to public transport.

I cant see why not, but I guess that it has to go through the right chanels and silly carry on which all takes time. One thing that I did here is that there might still be some racing happening out there as there was ment to be the usual points meeting for the locals being part of the JBM.... not sure if theres any truth in that, but if so then a day licence may get you in.

Good point Slim. I should be sweet as both of mine are on the Linx, but will check anyway.

Robyn's phoning me tomorrow and she's asking for suggestions. Here's what I intend on saying:

    1. Track day, or even half day as Robyn tells me there are still points races planned for the Sat (?)
    2. Ride out - Akaroa?
    3. Live all girl sex show
    4. Free beer
    5. 3 & 4

    Any other ideas welcome.
