You're a good bugger for being willing to lend a piece of kit like that out, and I would imagine most people you lend it to do what I did and take special care of it and ensure it gets back home safely - karma and all that.

Anyway with the SRAD ECU - it's possible that the injectors have seperate sense wires to determine faults with them, and that these are giving you trouble while the actual power wiring is fine, hence why you say the bike is not missing a beat.

The solution is the same as many have already said - clean all connections and check all earths. Wiggle as many wires and connections as you can to try and get the error code again.

Automotive wiring has a nasty habit when it's old or stressed, of breaking or corroding inside the PVC sheath. Wire looks fine, probably even works fine, until the physical position changes due to vibration or it heats up and the broken ends inside the insulation part company briefly.
