Arnie Arsehole and the Anal retenders was the name of my band at school.
(actually it was more like 4 delinquents in music class) "Bulldog" Whelan hated teaching us.

We amazed Bulldog with our ability to add the words "snot" "vomit" and "puke" to every song we assassinated.
Tina Turners "Proud Mary" was a classic.
Got sent to the discipline master several times over our "special" lyrics.

Catholic schools had NO tolerance back then

I remember at St Peters in Auckland singing Hymns with replacement words...

I loved singing "How great Thou FART"

Still makes me snigger occasionally when I hear it...although now days I know what blasphemy means, and it dont mean the cane from Father Prendigast.
