On 9/11/01, four airliners were hijacked; two were used as missiles to take out the World Trade Centers and of the remaining two, one crashed into
the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers.
Exercises that confused and confounded air traffic control and the air force where run from the Whitehouse that day by:

    >a. Bugs Bunny, Wiley E. Coyote, Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd
    >b. The Supreme Court of Florida
    >c. Dick Cheney
    >d. Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40

On 10/11/01 an announcement was made that $2.3 trillion where missing from the Pentagon budget. This announcement was made by:

    >a. Scooby Doo
    >b. Donald Rumsfeld
    >c. Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid
    >d. Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40

My brother and I had a good friend who was murdered in the terrorist attack in India last week. My brother just saw him the week before.

He was from Cyprus originally but had a British passport. His crew made it and was able to reluctantly tell the story. It was execution style.

    RIP Andreas.

Sorry but there is NEVER an excuse for that but don't think it is a just Muslim thing. If you are old enough you will remember both the Christian sides in Nth Ireland blowing eachothers women and children up not to mention that American carpet bombing and napam couldn't really tell the difference between armed enemy soldiers and harmless local kids.
It has always been this way sadly, nothing new here, humans never seem to learn humanity sadly.

Bigotry and self righteousness is the problem for both sides…………… on any issue; compassion and tolerance is the solution for both sides……………on any issue.

Listened to an interesting article on the ABC radio about the background to this...a long standing undercurrent of tension and fighting between the Hindu Government and local Muslims - look back in the local history to riots and massacres ( in the several hundreds) of local muslims, where the government and police turned a blind eye and an increasing spiral of retribution by local Muslim extremists. There is more to this than meets the immediate hysterical eye,
However - the media will play it out as more Al Quaeda/Pakistan/War on Terror hysteria as usual.......

Not that it excuses the bloodshed!

Shot down by the USAF. A plane does not leave an 8 mile debris trail with an engine 7 miles from the crash site, when it "dives" into a paddock!
    But - that's another issue.....
