    Tyre combination help

hey guys.... just done a taupo 2km trackday with new "Diablo corsa 3's front/rear

front feels stable as but the rear tyre struggles for traction at full bank , is stable watching the throttle but definatley feels to hot and slipery..

the pressures i was running was 30/31 cold front rear.
    with 33.5/38 hot..

the question is... since my front feels nice can i combine it with a new
higher-performance tyre and have a better setup?

    bike: cbr600rr

    thanks in advance

psi increase cold to hot on the rear does seem quite high as compared to conventional 'wisdom', which I think is about a 3-5 psi increase.

I don't have experience with those tyres, but perhaps call the distributor for some information on what pressure you should be running them at.

Diablo Superbikes for example, I had the rear at 26 cold and it was 29-30 off the track, wear was perfect and grip was great. Different tyre to what you're using though so again, call the distributor (Nationwide Accessories) for some info.

Corsa3 have plenty of performance. I'd get good advice on the rear pressure before ditching them.

Ive got Rossos on my R6 which Im doing clubmans on,running about 29 cold front & rear & theyre working well....though if the day was a hotty Id consider dropping that. Your've not got your preload to hard?
