There's an old sayin' around these parts.

"When all else fails, read the instructions."

The instructions? Are you slightly mad? They're all in Chinglish. It was a big-enough effort find part A to attach to part B. By the time I got to z I was so pissed I could hardly drink!

But I've got it sussed now. And with addition of some charcoal bits in the flame...Yum. Especially the mussels. :--))

Next Saturday night, at Taupo! The barbie will be affired.

I meant to mention..... At Taupo, I tuned up a day early, but camped on the wrong side of the track.

By the time I'd gotten myself and van to the right place, all of the afternnon, boiling sun-shade-places had gone.

But my new friend Andy MacDonald had the plan. He opened up a $99 gazebo which stopped us all from frying in the afternoon sun.

I bought the exact same device today.

Given the next track-day is Taupo 2, where there is less sun-cover outside the pits than there is on a naked French bird, laying on the beach at Bondi.

My all-new, flash gazebo will deal with that issue.

And if the wind comes up and my flash new gazebo does Mary Poppins impressions, then I shall complain to someone.
