dom post, pigs, a conspiracy?

note : this is not necesarily (sp?) a wind up

in the last few days there have been front page articles in the dom post going on about police negligence in relation to 111 calls, with revenue gathering taking precedence.

WHICH IS FUCKING SHOCKING YA LAZY FUCKERS!!!!!!!

but for last few months i have only seen one positive article about police, wihch were some new recruits all smiling an so on.... just they wait until they have been to a few accidents is say, then they wont be smiling but.......

WHAT HAVE THE COPPERS DONE TO FUCK OFF DOM POST?

was it another pack rape? the editors/owners daughter or something?

who does own it? anyone.....

or did they give the (editor/owner or someone close to them) a ticket for speeding at 11ks over the limit? when there were perfectly good things for policemen to be doing like attending 111 call outs????

or is there a deeper conspiracy?

Don't rely on the media too much there Mikey.

One example I didn't like was when that light plane crashed recently. It was a fatal crash and obviously upsetting for families and friends of the deceased, yet the media show footage of two cops standing about smiling and laughing.

What are they trying to do ? I doubt very much that the cops were laughing about the fatalities, but the image the media portrayed suggested they were.

And on another note - you have a big mouth mate !!

The media will only (inaccurately) report the worst of any organisation.
When was the last time you saw a front article about CYPS (is that right?) doing something right? Cos they do - a lot.

But it doesn't sell papers eh?

Sensationalise it.
Paint it black.
Print it.
Sell it.

BTW Dom Post is owned by Fairfax (offshore) I believe.

Dom Post is owned by the same guy that owns Fox.. Rupert Murdoch... an aussie in london/america that really couldnt give a fuck about NZ (or Aussie anymore)... it the editor that is the culprit....

Media only publicise bad News cause good news doesn't make good news. This isn't just truth for

related matters but in general.

Okay okay, but is there any truth in what they, and other papers are printing? The Press reported a case where a 2yr old had been abducted and an officer radioed for back-up but was informed the only 3 units available were on traffic duties and not listening to their radios. Sure they were traffic units but surely a case of child abduction is more important than traffic fines? The arguement was that as the traffic units are funded by LTSA they have to focus on traffic matters only.

shouldn't all Police be just Police??

my thoughts any way... I mean, if someone is HP and can't take prints or answer a burg call... whats the point!

I can remember when some dude in Chch lost a family member. He then went nutty in Chch brandishing a firearm. AOS were called in and had no option but to brass him up. It was probably a successful suicide attempt by the deceased. The Chch press' headline was "Police shoot grieving father." The old cops are damned if they do and damned if they don't. George Hawkins is the twat responsible for the 111 debacle.

Saw a good headline the other day too. "Tsunami washes up UFO"
