Helmet for a small head -where in Wellington?

Need a small helemt but no one sells them.

Brought the wife an HJC CL-SP as she rides pillion from time to time.
Size was XS (extra small) but still a wee bit big

I know there are a few XXS HJC's around but I have a better chance of Elvis in my back yard.

I suspect the CL-12N (or is it the CS-12N?) HJC XS are smaller than the CL-SP's (SP's seem to have a HUGE shell size, America head shape?).

But even trying to find a shop in the Wellington area that have the CL-12N in XS is proving a mission

I hate getting shops to order stuff in only to say no...also I've noticed if a shop orders something in you'll get the "nah that fits great, and looks great" even if it's ugly and fits badly.

Doesn't need to be HJC but HJC helemt seem to be excellent value for money. Also wear an HJC so it would be nice to match.

Might try Palerston North shops, any good ones?

I'm in a similar boat and I only wear an XS. I get all my stuff from the big, bad USA nowadays. You'll have a mission finding an XXS anywhere to try for fit/comfort.

Is your wife in the 52-53cm size range?

Thank godness it's not just my wife!!

Yeah that sounds about the right size.
We looked at Youth helemts but HJC only have 2 styles, one is black with a big angry purple wolve, the other is white with physico evil mushrooms.

Might have to visit ebay

Don't be in too much of a panic!
Bike shops will get one in for you to try and you're under no obligation to purchase. My Mrs had that issue where nothing in the shop would fit, so they ordered in an XS Shoei for her to try on. It did fit well and she bought it!

I wear an HJC child's helmet in size small for bucket racing and it's good and small, I also have an Arai in size XS that fits well and is super comfy. I bought the HJC here in Welly.... the Arai I imported, however when I told the guys at TSS that they said they could have done me the same deal. Pays to ask.
