    And that was 2008

Well... 2008, my plan knowing that it will likely be my last year to go hard turned out some what bloody good actually.

I raced in the BEARs winter serious, MCC south Is cup and with the BMRC in both post classics and F4 aka buckets. My pre 82 is a 350LC and the bucket was a MT 125 replica running a MB100 engine (see here for pics http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/album.php?albumid=750

Well it was an interesting year with my 1st crash on the track in the one hour F4/F5 race on my CB125T. I had DNF's and I had wins, I had blow ups and brake downs all this resulting in 4 trophys.
1st BMRC F4 classic supers... 6 rounds ruapuna
1st MCC south Island cup PC82... 3 rounds @ Levels, Teratonga & Ruapuna
2nd BEARs winter series PC82... 6 rounds ruapuna
3rd MCC south Island cup F4... 3 rounds Levels, Teratonga & Ruapuna

So I reckon I done good achieved what I set out to do and that was to get in the top 3 placings in these events, some of it was luck some of it was, well 1/2 decent riding I guess along with some nicely sorted bikes.
The race after a win on the 350 LC, the bike blew up in practice at Greymouth, the buckets have been sold for a new project next year, so unsure what 09 will bring but if possible I will be back track side but taking it easier cos it sure as hell got out of shape a few times because 80% of the time I was riding my best.
But its not quite over yet, thers still the Taupo gig to deal with,

Wasn't that the class you dreamed up just so you could win one?

In the one hour? I thought it was on a warm up lap?

Good stuff Dangerous. What's the bike for the Taupo meet?
    So you've sold both buckets?

Solid effort that man! Thats a pretty good haul for a years racing.
Now you can get stuck into the christmas tucker with a vengeance and still be able to tell stories of "back in the day, when I was fast"

Seems you did so well you've even got some haters- you must have whipped them good
