Impressive babe the choo choo is the kingston flyer though, in Kingston I guess and the only one you didn't get is in the Norf island on my way home.

Keep that spare room vacant beautiful, I shall return. x

And for all you gorgeous babes that are contemplating fistycuffs over me, I thought you'd better see what your fighting for, I'm the monster on the left outside the pub. and of course you'd have to get past the comely wench by the Glacier in pic two. Good luck with that.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Great photos !

Makes me wonder why I sit inside, online, stirring up Kiwibikers, instead of hopping on my scoot, and heading off for a ride !

Maybe its time to turn a new leaf and get riding - thanks for the inspiration

Those 'midges' are called sandflies, and yes, they're real nasty fookers.
We were warned about mosquitoes in Fiordland, but the sandflies in Haast were the worst. Bastids would bit through thin clothes, bite the bits you'd missed with the repellent (like under your watchstrap, between your fingers, etc., and this was inside the motel! You'd be eaten alive outside.
Never had any problems with mozzies.

Lovely photos, Marty - very clear, and wel composed.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
