Whereabouts locally could I get vinyl sheets that are a mirror/chrome finish? I'm looking to cut out my own decals for my bike, pretty much the same style as a VTR SP2.

Any decent signwriter will have chrome vinyl. Just walk up and offer some cash for their offcuts or a metre of roll.
The instructions are simple...
Be careful that you get the right stuff. Traditionally, chrome 'vinyl' is actually polyester and does not have a good outdoor life. There is a proper vinyl now available in chrome BUT it is very expensive. Are you good enough to handcut what you want?
